Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal et Tottenham ont annoncé leur retrait du projet de Super Ligue, imitant ainsi Manchester City, qui avait déjà fait machine arrière plus tôt dans la soirée. Seul Chelsea, qui n’a pas encore officialisé son retirement, devrait dans les heures à venir, suivre.
La Super League perd sa moitié !
Après Manchester City, quatre autres clubs anglais ont annoncé leur retrait de la nouvelle compétition européenne. Il s’agit de Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal et Tottenham. Il ne manque que Chelsea qui ne devrait pas tarder à annoncer son retrait.
